About Carolyn Gritt
I'd like to welcome you to my 'About Me' section and would like to give you some information regarding my introduction into the world of nail extensions.
As a teenager i was constantly changing the colour and design of my nails, as i married and moved home my
nails took a back seat in my life as other priorites took over.
It wasn't until i was expecting my first child in 2003 that my nail art spark was re-lit, from this i learnt more techniques and was introduced into encapsulation which involved using gels or acrylics.
Curiosity got the better of me and i self educated with products and techniques, looking back now; this has made me appreciate and understand what is involved being a qualified nail technician and has helped me in becoming qualified.
In September 2009 I completed my acrylic tip & overlay course aswell as my maintaining nail extensions course.During October 2009 i completed my nail art course gaining a distinction and finally in November 2010 i completed my acrylic sculpt nail course.
Doing these courses has also led me into other areas such as 3D nail art and also making acrylic rings as accessories.
I am looking forward to creating more and more beautiful nails for hopefully many years to come.
Regards,
Carolyn 'Kaz' Gritt

Carolyns Qualifications so far....
About Mary Kendell
My interest in nails and beauty started when I was young. I would always paint my nails different colours and explore various designs. It wasn't long before my friends took advantage of my skills.
I joined the army at 17 and after basic training I went to Blandford camp for phase 2 training, there I sparked my
interest again when I went to get nail extensions from a lady on camp with her own shop. She taught me how to apply acrylic nails, and thus my love of nails was reignited. I would often do the other girl's nails in unit when we had functions and do's.
It wasn’t until I was in the process of leaving the army, that I decided to gain a few qualifications. I started the process of learning gel nails, whilst I was waiting to move to Elmpt and join my husband.I passed both my Gel Nail Extensions and Maintainance With Credit.
Here in Elmpt I noticed that people were crying out for spray tans, so I put myself on a course with Sunless Solutions. This is the spray tanning Solution used on
"The Only Way is Essex", and I LOVE it! It gives the most natural and healthy looking tan i have ever seen.
Slowly I plan to gain more qualifications and bring a little of what you need to you . I am about to start my Acrylic
Sculpt Course and My Spa Manicure Pedicure Course, so fingers crossed x
I will look forward to seeing you soon.
